Waiting List: The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed.

You will be assigned a position based on date and time of your completed application. The waiting list is on a first come first served basis. Greenville Housing Authority (GHA) does not have any preferences. We are not able to provide your position on the waiting list and we do not release information over the telephone. GHA cannot predict how long it will take for your application to reach the top of the Section 8 HCV waiting list.

Applicants currently on the waiting list are responsible for updating their application
information on line; especially a change in address. All correspondence will be sent by
U.S. Post Office mail. We currently do not send correspondence by any other method.

We can only stress the importance of the information on your application is current and correct at all times, especially the mailing address, as any contact from GHA will be by mail.
